note to self

Bad guy’s theme always sound better than everyone else’s. Theme contributes to their personality.

organ’s timbre helps gives an ominous feel. his abuse of his power is how he is portrayed as evil. theme is one of those “this guy will fuck you up” songs.

playful sound helps reiterate that hes a psycho maniac in the head. the song sounds like a song for a jester / parody of a king’s song, suggesting that he thinks hes the ruler of all things which explains his thirst for power.

sounds like a zorro song. character serves as an antihero. trying to analyze the sheet music I found. would be cool if I find a whole tone thing going since a whole tone scale sounds like a magic effect and his name is Magus.
